The two items produced for the Book Club of Texas by the Rein Company of Houston marked that firmís apogee as exponents of quality printing. Their pamphlets, portfolios and occasional volumes arouse admiration even now. Their motivation was reflected in the house newsletter, Rein Proof, through which they spread their gospel. World War II halted these efforts, however, as the owners turned to less artistic, but considerably more profitable commercial endeavors.
